Common questions about ED telehealth

Get the care model straight first. The provider’s licensed clinician makes the medical decision.

How online ED care works
Can an online clinician prescribe ED medication?

A licensed clinician may prescribe after reviewing your information and determining that treatment is appropriate. Completing an intake does not guarantee approval.

What is the difference between sildenafil and tadalafil?

Both are prescription PDE5 inhibitors, but their timing, duration, dosing choices, and suitability differ. Compare the medication first, then compare providers offering it.

Are compounded ED products FDA-approved?

No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, even when they contain active ingredients also used in approved products.

Why do providers ask about nitrates and “poppers”?

PDE5 inhibitors can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure when combined with nitrates. Give the prescribing clinician complete and accurate medication information.
